Group Personal Training

PG_group2Core Principles programs are designed to accommodate various levels of fitness and experience.

Our Group Personal Training sessions allow us the flexibility to focus on YOU and cater to your personal goals and objectives. So you wont get lost in the crowd, left behind or ignored by an instructor who doesn't know or care who you are!!

As a member, you have access to all of the sessions which are scheduled around the demands of our busy clients (see our Group Personal Training timetable for all sessions and times).

Your Personal Trainer will discuss the right group and type of session for you and can make suggestions as to the frequency and combination of sessions that will best deliver the results you are looking for - there is NO 'one size fits all' attitude at Core Principles!!

Boxercise
Beginners - Intermediate
Pack some punch into your workout! An empowering cardio/boxing workout that will burn fat, increase fitness and improve body shape & tone. No previous boxing experience is necessary. 
 
Body Tone
Beginner - Advanced        
A total body workout ustilising light weights and high repetitions, combined with cardio and plyometric exercises to achieve peak body tone and condition.
 
Circuit
Beginners-Advanced           
Optimum strength/cardio and conditioning blend, this session will move you from station to station to get the heart pumping and muscles burning.  Tone and strengthen your entire body and burn calories at the same time.  You will leave feeling energised!

Tummy Hips Thighs
Beginners-Advanced           
Tone and shape the tummy, hips and thighs! A blend of simple aerobic moves to a beat that elevates your heart rate while your tummy, hips and thighs get a burn you will feel right into the next day.

Fit Ball
Beginners-Intermediate          
Fitness training using a fitball is a unique and valuable tool for developing muscular strength, core control, increasing flexibility, improving balance and enhancing co-ordination.
Q:Are you an older adult looking for improvement in some or all of these areas? Are you a new mum or new to the gym looking to get into exercise in a gentle yet effective way?
A: If so, then we strongly encourage you to give Fitball a go!
 
Spin
Beginners-Advanced
Get on your bike and get the legs pumping and the lungs burning. This is a high octane session which will help you burn an extraordinary amount of calories, tone your legs and glutes and dramatically improve your aerobic fitness and endurance. This intense but low impact session is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
 
HIIT
Intermediate-Advanced
So what's HIIT? Well, it stands for High Intensity Interval Training and it has proven to be one of the most efficient ways to burn body fat! This unique class is based on short and intense bursts of Cardio/Resistance exercises, combined with frequent active rest breaks. Get ready to dramatically increase your fitness, endurance and burn body fat in this high intensity workout.
 
Mat Pilates
Beginner-Advanced
Pilates is an intense stretching class that incorporates workouts for your abdominal, leg, arm and back muscles. Some of the movements are slow and controlled while others are very fast. While there are 3 types of Pilates, the most popular is the mat workout, where much time is spent on the floor using gravity and your own body weight to create resistance. The Pilates session may also incorporate weights depending on participants needs and experience.
 
Yoga
Beginner-Intermediate
Vinyasa flow yoga is a form of yoga which is based on ‘breath synchronised movements’. It is a natural sequence unfolding with creative intelligence, allowing each pose to flow with fluidly and dynamically into the next pose. This practice will take you on a journey of self discovery through an emphasis on coordinating breath and movement which honours the wisdom of your body and develops awareness of mind, emotion and spirit.
Incorporating regular yoga practice into your life can be used as a preventive treatment against a number of diseases and disorders but most of all, yoga will empower you to reach your full potential– freedom in your body and life.
 
TRX (Suspension Training)
Beginner-Advanced
Suspension Training incorporates body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the Suspension Straps that leverage gravity and the user’s body weight to enable hundreds of exercises for every fitness goal.

Load UP
Beginner-Advanced
A fast, high energy routine conducted to fast paced and highly energised music, incorporating the use of barbells and steps and other workout tools to produce the perfect cardio and strength workout! The perfect workout to get you motivated and de-stressed!
 
Kettlebells
Intermediate - Adanced
Kettlebells offer a different kind of training using dynamic moves targeting almost every aspect of fitness – endurance, strength, balance, agility and cardio endurance. Our members love it because it's challenging, efficient and you only need one piece of equipment.
