Meet Andrea

Since I was very young, my parents encouraged me to be physically active. I remember my dad always taking me for long walks when I was only 3! Then, when I turned four, they both decided to enroll me in swimming lessons, thinking it was important for me to learn how to survive in the water.

With time, being in the water became my passion and soon enough, I joined the swimming squad. Later on, I decided to venture into the world of triathlon, where I raced professionally for about 10 years.

After achieving the greatest win of my life in sports, I decided to come to Australia to study English. Once I was done with that, I delved into fitness to become a personal trainer, a great complement to my existing career in my home country, Sports Science.

During my first couple of years in Melbourne, I worked in various restaurants. Although I learned a lot, I never felt it was my path. I knew I needed to find my way back into sports. I wanted to combine the different skills I had, and that's when I decided to work as a swimming instructor. The joy I got from teaching both little kids and adults how to swim was amazing and made me realize how much I enjoyed teaching. A few friends found out I was teaching people how to swim, and they started asking if they could join. Just like that, I started to gather a lot of people, so I decided to create my own club, Forza Performance. I must say, this is something I truly enjoy and love, and as my dad used to say, if you love your job, you will never have to work ever again. I love helping people, I can see little details not many can see, and I guess that's what makes me very technical when it comes to training.

When I'm not coaching, you can find me playing the piano or the drums. I have an incredible passion for music, and it wasn't until a year ago that I decided to teach myself how to play. I enjoy playing all kinds of music, but my favorite genre on the drums is rock, and on the piano, I particularly enjoy classical pieces by Beethoven. Quite weird, isn't it?

I love working hard; I love to train hard and push my body and mind to places they've never been. Triathlon is my sport; I love everything about it—the physical part, the mental aspect, and the joy you get from every training session, every race, every journey.

I am here to assist you in achieving your goals, no matter how big or small they may be!
